Another Christmas has come and gone. It’s amazing how the Holidays just creeeeeeeep up on everyone and before you know it, your running around Wal Mart looking for the last can of Sweetened Condensed Milk. I don’t like to procrastinate, while Tom does it naturally. I had all the gifts planned out before Thanksgiving! I like to buy what I can online because you usually save money that way. I also bought a few personalized gift items and those took time to arrive. There is nothing better than the feeling of accomplishment and I think I’m feelin’ it. All the kids received SO many gifts, it was insane! We had to pause in the middle of opening to clear out some of the paper because the baby was starting to disappear under it.
You spend all this time decorating for Christmas and then it just comes and goes so quickly. Now it’s time to take down the lights and the tree 😦 ah its sad. Decorations are so pretty and I have fun putting them up. But it’s another year completed and on to 2014. I’ve never been happy to see a year come to an end. It makes me feel old. I don’t like feeling old. Last year Audrey was just 3 months old for Christmas. She was bald and adorable in her polka dot dress. She slept while her grandpa walked laps around the house with her. This year she was a wild, teething toddler with mood swings. She hasn’t been friendly because her first tooth JUST popped out this week and she’s been in pain. All Audrey wanted for Christmas was her 2 front teeth. Well she got 1 of them and I’m sure a bunch more are just going to pop up at once. I’m bummed that she was cranky while all our family was here to visit. She’s usually a pleasant baby to everyone, even strangers. I just want my happy baby back. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. I hope you all got everything you needed and wanted. We get to purchase a water softener tomorrow with the gift cards we received. And I also have a purse on it’s way to me YAY!
