I am a new fan of body oil. This skincare brand was really interesting to me because they use ingredients like truffle in this skincare line. I have several other items to try from them, but this oil has quickly become a staple in my skincare so far. I find it so much easier to spray it on a cotton pad vs. applying moisturizer. I’ll be updating my progress in another 2 weeks.
So far so good guys. I don’t know if I would pay full price for this stuff yet though. I love the smell and I really have nothing horrible to say about it. Hopefully it shows me more as time goes on.
I was introduced to this face cream by the youtube beauty guru – Tati. She was talking about this in one of her videos and it sparked my curiosity. I just used the last of my face cream and I have been looking for a new one to try. I like trying new things for my skin and rarely ever re-purchase things. I’ve used products from all over, in every brand and price range. Skincare can get really pricey depending on what your priorities are. My focus currently is anti-aging and this claims to be “natures Botox”. To learn more about this product here is their website. It tells you all about the effects of bee venom and how it tricks the skin…blah blah blah.
Beenigma is on the more expensive side of face cream. I paid 64.99 and that was with a 50% discount code…………. On TOP of that it was $9.95 in shipping – a total of $78.83. Now come on Beenigma, if you’re going to sell a face cream that is higher end at least give us free shipping. It bugs me when you spend a lot of money on something online and they don’t cover the shipping. I will avoid buying something online BECAUSE of the shipping and I’m sure I’m not the only one.
I am going to start using this cream tonight and I will update you in ONE WEEK. I really hope this turns out to be an AMAZING product that really does what it claims. The bee venom thing makes sense for the most part, but I think the skin will eventually stop reacting to it. Sort of like when you plateau because you keep your exercise and diet the same. Well let’s find out…
I have really been blessed with good skin. I don’t have moles, blemishes, or acne. I do however have light freckles……… I don’t like my freckles, but I know that some people really like freckles. My freckles were much darker before I started using Obagi products. Other than my light freckles I have one spot of hyperpigmentation around my mouth that I get really self conscious about. It’s in such a weird spot so it’s hard to conceal with makeup. I was lucky enough to skip over the “pimple” years. Through the hormonal high school years I only had 4-5 pimples TOTAL.
I didn’t start taking care of my skin until I was 20. I’m a really low maintenance kind of person and I just didn’t see the point in skincare since I didn’t have any issues to begin with. I went to a dermatologist and they showed me these special pictures of the sun damage my skin had gotten over the years. Although I had great skin on the outside, this machine showed me that I actually had quite a bit of sun damage. From that point on I started taking care of my skin. I became a religious sun block wearer and I made sure to wash my face day and night. PREVENTATIVE skincare is the key. You don’t want to discover the damage in your 40’s, by then it will be nearly impossible to help. A good sunblock is the best skincare product. You can only disguise aging and skin damage for so long……..why not focus on preventing it?
Hey guys I just filmed a video showing you the items I have been using for the last 3 months. I use the Obagi C products, Retin A, Clarins, L’Occitane toner, Mario Badescu. This routine has really helped my dry skin and I think I have a good mix of products. I’ll keep this up until another season change.
I started my beauty channel to show my experience with Obagi Nu-Derm products. I was so pleased with my results and I always recommend Obagi products. To see my Obagi experience go to my channel youtube.com/mrssarahmarie55.
Since then I have used several different products. I love the Obagi line but I couldn’t use it while I was pregnant and breastfeeding. So for those 2 years I experimented with other products. I really don’t need an aggressive skincare routine anymore because I am happy the results from Obagi. Now I just try to maintain and preserve my skin. I was recommended Vivier Skin by my skincare specialist and I decided to try it. I bought my kit from http://www.lovelyskin.com/o/vivierskin-dry-sensitive-skin-system. The kit I bought was pretty good, but I really didn’t notice any difference. I started swapping some products and I’ve found some new favorites. This product by PCA Skin is AMAZING http://www.lovelyskin.com/o/pca-skin-c-quench-antioxidant-serum. I noticed my skin was soooooooooo soft after using it. I will definitely be re-purchasing it. Next I started using a different eye cream from SPA COM. I use it at night because it’s greasy, but WOW it works great. And of course I use my Retin-A every other evening.
